Data notice

Data, held with care.

Zella of UK Games Ltd is the data controller for everyone in the lounge. This notice is written in plain English and updated whenever something changes. Last revision: 12 May 2026.

What we collect

A chosen display name, an email address used to sign in, the rooms played and approximate device information (browser, screen size, broad region). No payment details are ever asked for, because the lounge is play-for-fun.

Why we hold it

Member data lets us keep accounts running, deliver daily stars, suggest rooms that match the way someone plays, and answer questions from the support crew. We also keep limited records to spot unusual sign-in activity and protect the lounge.

Where it lives

Everything is stored on encrypted servers based in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Transit between the browser and our servers is protected with TLS 1.3. Backups are encrypted at rest and rotated every twenty-eight days.

Member rights

Anyone in the lounge can ask for a copy of held data, ask for a correction or ask for full deletion at any time. Most requests are completed within seven working days. Account deletion removes the profile, play records and quest history within thirty days.

Sharing rules

Member data is never sold, swapped or rented. A small number of trusted processors help host the lounge (cloud servers, email delivery, helpdesk software) and each is bound by a UK GDPR-compliant agreement. No data is shared with advertising networks.

Getting in touch

Reach the data team at [email protected] for any question, large or small. A real human reads every message. Complaints can also be raised with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

A friendly reminder.

Zella is play-for-fun. No bank cards, no purchases, no real-money play. If anyone ever asks for payment details while pretending to be Zella, please write to us and report it straight away.
